About WASHX
It all started in a college campus in Boston with a laundry business idea on a bunch of papers for a business-related course. A strange idea helped apply the contains of a "profit formula" chapter, then turned into a brand name registered with the Massachusetts Secretary of State's office, then with the city of Brockton. That was in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic started.
As college campuses across the state changed into ghost towns, laundry needs from individuals became rare. Over the difficult years following registration and implementation of the first marketing efforts, the laundry delivery company turned into a Home Improvement venture, and a passion for design started to grow.
The mix of geometry skills with over a decade of artistic painting and a hint of determination to thrive attracted a crowd of new and returning clients asking for office and home furniture assembly, wall-mounting of mirrors, paintings, pictures, TVs, sound systems, signs, curtain rods, all sorts of shelves, and so many other things.
Ever since, over 300 projects and counting have been completed through the WASHX website and the third-party platform TaskRabbit.
Today, WASHX carries a HIC license and is certified MBE with the SDO (Supplier Division Office) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and qualifies to hire licensed professionals.
Now MBE certified, WASHX welcomes prime vendors doing business with the state of Massachusetts with wall decoration/mounting, office furniture assembly needs, no matter how big or complex they are.
